We focus on building the strength, speed, and power required for advanced competition, while also emphasizing injury prevention, skill development, and conditioning. Middle School Sports Performance

We help middle school athletes build a strong athletic foundation through safe, effective training that develops strength, speed, and power. Our programs focus on teaching proper movement mechanics, fostering athletic confidence, and laying the groundwork for future athletic success—all while making training fun and engaging.

Team Training

Our team training program is designed for middle school, high school, and travel teams looking to improve overall athleticism, strength, and speed—together. We help teams develop faster, stronger, and more cohesive athletes through structured group training. Ideal for teams aiming to elevate their performance, build unity, and reduce injury risk across the entire roster.

The rebel behind RSP

Coach Mike Gaughan is originally from Walpole, Massachusetts, where he was a proud Walpole Rebel in high school — a fitting start for the future founder of Rebel Sports Performance. He went on to pitch at Rollins College in Florida, serving as a two-year team captain before transitioning into the world of sports performance.

Mike now works with athletes of all levels — from middle school to the professional ranks — helping them unlock their full potential. He specializes in strength and conditioning for baseball players, with a focus on building strength, power, and speed that translates to the field. At Rebel Sports Performance, he’s built a high-energy, results-driven environment where athletes are coached to improve their game and develop long-term habits for success.
